What are the best guitar Instagram accounts?
If you are on Instagram and love playing guitars, chances are you’ve seen a lot of guitar content on the app.
On one side, you have the so-called repost pages that publish the most viral videos on the internet, and on the other side, you have personal guitarist pages.
As a guitar player, not only does practicing helps you as a musician, but also being involved in the community gives you the motivation to keep going.
Consistently watching and interacting with people that play guitar is a great example of that.
These are some of the best guitar pages on Instagram that are worth following:

Best Guitar Related Instagram Pages
1. Guitar Based (@guitarbased)
For the first Instagram page, we’re simply going to show you ours, why not? 🙂
When it comes to the type of content that we publish, most of the time, we’re reposting viral videos from some of the best guitar players on the platform.
At the same time, we also upload guitar tutorials, reviews, quotes, tips, and funny memes
What sets us apart from most of the other pages similar to ours is that we won’t spam you with 5+ videos a day and that our requirements for each video are usually very high.
From having good lighting to also making sure that all guitar fretboards can easily be seen by the viewers, we strive to only post the highest quality videos possible.
2. Guitar Secret (@guitarsecret)
This is one of the most popular guitar pages on Instagram.
From viral videos and tutorials with tabs to all other sorts of guitar, content can be found on this account.
Pages so big such as this one have a huge posting history, so you’ll find them having a total of 4000+ posts and sometimes even more.
If you’re looking to be entertained for a little while, then scrolling through a feed like this one is a great way of doing so because of the huge amount of content they’ve already posted.
3. Guitarstagram (@guitarstagram)
Guitarstagram joined Instagram on July 8, 2016, and since then has been posting a lot of guitar content.
The page currently has 5000+ posts, ranging from guitar videos to tutorials and funny memes.
Some of these big pages accept paid features, which means that as a guitarist, you can message them and get posted on their account after paying some money.
This account does that, which means that aside from always seeing the same guitar players over and over, you’ll get to see smaller creators as well.
If you by any chance are also trying to make it as a guitarist, then this is a great way of finding like-minded people and reaching out to them to maybe even collaborate in the future.
4. Guitars Are Better (@guitarsarebetter)
Guitars Are Better is the world’s largest guitar page with currently more than 800k followers.
As a fun fact, this page has also published more posts than any other similar account on Instagram.
Just like some of the other guitar pages I already mentioned before, their content is mostly based on viral videos and tutorials with tabs.
The rate at which they seem to be uploading videos is about 8-10 videos every day.
5. Guitar.com (@guitar)
This account is a little special than any other on this list.
And that is because of its name @guitar:
To simply be able to get such a username on Instagram is as hard as it can get, but if that wasn’t enough, they also own Guitar.com, which is pretty cool in my opinion.
When it comes to what type of content they post, we’re not going to be getting the expected and usual viral videos and tutorials with tabs, but rather a big variety of really helpful guitar-related stuff.
These include pedal and guitar reviews, interviews, news, and demos.
6. Pedal Of The Day (@pedaloftheday)
Next up is Pedal Of The Day, which is one of my favorites on this list.
As its name indicates, this account is posting a lot of pedal-related videos and images.
If you’re into guitar gear and enjoy buying different types of effects pedals, you will definitely get a lot of value following this page.
On the other hand, if you’re also a big fan of beer, they own a second account with the username @beerandpedals in which they highlight guitar pedals as well, but this time accompanied by a matching beer can.
7. Guitar Center (@guitarcenter)
If you own a guitar, chances are you’ve heard about Guitar Center at least once.
For those of you that don’t know, Guitar Center is an American music retailer chain, and it’s the largest company of its kind in the United States.
Their Instagram account is nothing short of amazing guitar content such as guitar reviews and artist spotlight.
Keep in mind though, this is a retail company at the end of the day, so you’ll inevitably see a lot of products being promoted and many calls to action in every other post.
8. Guitar World Magazine (@guitarworldmagazine)
Guitar World is an American monthly music magazine for guitarists since July 1980.
Their Instagram account features mostly images that they use to either share some type of guitar-related information or promote a certain article on their website.
From time to time they also post video tutorials, news, gear reviews, and other similar types of content.
If that sounds like something you’re interested in, then they’re surely also worth following.
9. Guitar Memes (@memesguitar)
This page is the first one of its kind that we’ll talk about in this post, and that is guitar meme pages.
If you not only want to see people playing guitar on your feed, but also rather have a laugh, then this account is the perfect one to follow.
When it comes to the type of posts that they publish, they usually just make fun of all the relatable things that we as guitarists go through.
From always wanting to buy new guitars, to losing every single guitar pick that we put our hands on.
Aside from that, they post about 3-5 times a day, and the users who follow this page are very active in the comments section of each meme.
You know guitar players can be comedians sometimes, so in most cases. the comments are funnier than what they upload!
10. Guitars Daily (@guitarsdaily)
Guitars Daily is also among one of the biggest guitar pages on Instagram.
Their content varies from guitar memes to viral videos and tutorials with tabs.
As its name suggests, they publish daily at about 1-3 posts per day.
Just like we saw with some of the previous pages we listed, they also accept paid features, so you’ll get to see smaller creators as well.
11. Guitar Tabs & Guitar Lessons (@guitartabsdaily)
This account is easily one of the best tabs and guitar lessons pages on Instagram.
From riffs and licks to song tutorials, every single one of their videos has tabs on them so that you can easily loop them and recreate what they’re playing.
Most big guitar Instagram pages feature the best videos online, but the majority of them lack the tabs or at least some way in which users can get more value from them.
When it comes to this page, all the “tabs?” comments that you would normally see on so many guitar videos are pretty much nonexistent.
This is one of those examples in which entertainment and learning go hand in hand very well.
12. Guitar Mania (@guitaramania)
Guitar Mania first opened their account on November 6, 2019.
Since then, they’ve been posting all sorts of guitar videos such as tutorials, jamming sections, memes, and old archives.
On the bad side, the owner of the account seems to advertise a lot of products quite often.
It’s unknown whether they’re promoting other people’s products or their own, but these include a lot of “click the link in my bio” type of captions.
Aside from that, this seems to be a very solid guitar community on Instagram.
13. Juicy Tones (@juicytones)
This account aside from having an amazing name also uploads great guitar content.
Among their uploads are viral guitar videos and some guitar lessons with tabs.
Most of the time, they post the same people over and over, which honestly can get a bit repetitive if you’re also following other guitar pages.
It was created on August 24, 2018, and the owner of the account is also a guitar player.
14. Guitarables (@guitarables)
This page currently hasn’t been active for a couple of weeks, but they’ve been around since 2019.
It looks like they take time off every so often and then start posting again after a while.
Just like most other accounts on this list, they’re uploading all things guitar, including videos, memes, and lessons.
The community seems to be fairly active, and they also appear to include bass guitar videos from time to time, though not as often as I would expect a page with a bass guitar as a profile picture.
15. Riffwars (@riffwars)
Riffwars joined Instagram on January 10, 2014, and since then, has been consistently posting guitar videos.
As per their website, their mission is to “promote guitarists everywhere seeking exposure, instruction, and interaction with other passionate musicians.”
This is not the usual viral-guitar-video repost page, they have something a little more exciting going on.
They do annually held contests in which you can participate and win prizes and rewards.
Said contents even have a hall of fame section on their website in which they feature the winners with a link to their Instagram accounts.
Currently, it seems like they don’t do as many of these contests as they used to, but following them might let you know when the next one is happening.
16. Guitareo (@guitareoofficial)
Unlike many others on this list, Guitareo is not only just a random Instagram account but an online platform for people to learn how to play guitars.
Their posts usually vary from quotes and funny memes to amazing video lessons.
Following this page is a must, especially if you’re a beginner looking for continuous guitar knowledge and inspiration.
That doesn’t mean that if you’re an interminate or an advanced player you won’t find any value on this account, the opposite is true.
If you’re looking for ways to take the next step as a guitarist, no matter your level, you will find a lot of helpful tips with their content.
17. Guitarraviva (@guitarraviva)
If you don’t speak Spanish, then chances are you haven’t heard about Guitarraviva, but even then I’d be very surprised if you haven’t come across one of their videos on YouTube.
On their Instagram, their content is all things guitar but is generally created to engage with their already students and subscribers.
Carlos Asensio created Guitarraviva on Feb 27, 2011, and since then has been constantly uploading guitar tutorials on YouTube.
This account is worth a follow if you’re regularly looking to learn new songs and understand Spanish to a fair degree.
18. Guitar Spotter (@guitarspotter)
Guitar Spotter is also another great Instagram account to follow.
They’re not the usual repost page that only uploads viral guitar videos as their main theme is simply “spotting” guitar gear and talking about it.
If you’re one of those guitar players that love talking about different guitar models, designs, and brands, then you’ll really enjoy this type of content.
The rate at which they’re currently posting is about 1-2 posts a day.
One is usually a video of someone playing their guitar and the other one is an image of a certain guitar for their audience to engage and talk about.
19. Guitar Pro (@guitarpro_official)
Guitar Pro is an editor of guitar tablature and musical scores, possessing a plotter of chords, a player, a metronome, and other tools for musicians.
Their Instagram feed is full of different types of guitar tutorials with tabs and a lot of beginner-friendly lessons.
Aside from that, though, they typically post a lot of updates and tips for those who use Guitar Pro (the software).
If you don’t have any idea of what this software does or don’t use it at all, then these updates might get a bit annoying every so often, otherwise, this account is undoubtedly worth the follow.
20. Jazz Guitar Licks (@jazzguitarlicks)
One of the reasons why I love this page is because of how specific it is!
If you love jazz and occasionally enjoy learning some new jazz guitar licks, then following this page is a no-brainer.
They post about 1-3 times a week and sometimes take breaks in between and simply stop uploading for about a week or two.
In my opinion, this is very reasonable since I’d assume each video/image takes longer periods of time to both create and make sure they’re error-free.
Following this account will surely bring a lot of value to you as a guitarist, no matter your level of expertise.
21. Guitar Licks 4′ All (@guitarlicks4all)
Now for this example, as opposed to the one before, if you’re looking for guitar licks that can be used for other genres besides jazz, then you’re in the right place.
‘Guitar Licks 4′ All’ constantly uploads videos with tabs that teach us how to play patterns, arpeggios, scales, and other guitar exercises that will undoubtedly improve anyone’s playing.
Although I would say this page is better suited for intermediate and advanced players, I still can see beginners learning a lot from these videos.
This owner of this account started posting in May 2020, and since most videos take a fair amount of time to make, you can expect new content at least once a week.
22. Guitarra Libre (@guitarra.libre)
Guitarra Libre is the second account on this list that uploads its content only in Spanish.
If you’re able to understand a fair amount of the language, then this page will surely provide you with a lot of amazing help to use as a guitar player.
From all sorts of guitar licks, to how to play like Jimi Hendrix, to how to use effect pedals the right way.
The cool thing about this page is that it’s a guitar teacher that’s behind it, which means that his sole purpose is to share knowledge with the audience.
Obviously, for many beginners, these types of videos are great to get started and learn new things every day.
23. Guitar Reels (@guitar_reels)
This account is not as old as most of the other ones on this post but it has gained a crazy following in very little time.
If you scroll on their feed, and just like the account name suggests, they only post Instagram reels.
Reels on Instagram are these videos similar to the ones on TikTok where you can express your creativity in a usually short, lighthearted, and informal way.
If you love this type of post and usually scroll through reels on the app, then following this account will ensure that more guitar videos will pop up on your reels home screen.
